experience in real estate development, energy, tourism, and finance.
Isra Portfolio obtained its activity license and portfolio management authorization from
the Capital Markets Board on 24.11.2023 with letter number 45720.
Education and Academic Career:
Professor of Financial Economics, Turan Erol received his Bachelor's degree in Economics in 1985, a Master's degree in 1989, and a Ph.D. from the Tinbergen Institute/Erasmus University in the Netherlands in 1996. He is currently a faculty member at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University. Between 1997 and 2003, he served as a lecturer, teaching courses in economics and finance and conducting research in these fields. In 2003, he was awarded the "TOBB Best Turkey Economy Research Award."
Public Service:
• From 2003 to 2009, he held positions as a Member, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey.
• Between 2009 and 2018, he served as the Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister.
Market and Sector Experience:
Since 2010, Erol has been involved as an independent board member and consultant in various companies, including Turkish Airlines (THY) and its subsidiaries, Aselsan, the Presidency of Defense Industries' companies, and private sector companies such as Tümosan and Ostim Investment. During these roles, some of which are ongoing, he gained deep insights into the working, decision-making, and regulatory processes of both public and private sector institutions, as well as the financial and real sectors. He has also had the opportunity to collaborate with and represent national and international institutions, particularly in the financial sector.
Portfolio and Fund Management Experience:
In addition to holding all Capital Markets Licenses, he has the following experience:
• Between 2011 and 2016, as a board member of Turkish Airlines (THY) and its subsidiaries, he played an active role in the establishment and management of domestic and foreign partnerships.
• Since 2016, he has actively contributed to the establishment and management of numerous subsidiaries of SSTEK, a defense industry management company under the Presidency of Defense Industries, where he serves as a board consultant.
• He led the establishment of the Advanced Technology Venture Capital Fund, founded by SSTEK, and continues to serve on its Investment Committee.
• He is a board member of Ostim Investment, a stock exchange company primarily focused on real estate project development. He also spearheaded the establishment of the Venture Capital Fund established by this company and continues to serve on its Investment Committee.
• As a board member of Aselsan Inc., he actively contributes to the managerial and financial coordination of its numerous subsidiaries.
Ahmad Ravad Ramazanoğlu graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at Kocaeli University and the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Damascus. He possesses extensive experience in real estate development, with a strong background in architecture and a deep understanding of urban planning. For over sixteen years, he has been involved in developing strategic plans for venture capital and real estate projects, leading initiatives aligned with these plans, managing design processes, corporate identity control, and project architectural design.
Ramazanoğlu has a broad network and is specialized in reaching large-scale international investors. He has a particular expertise and interest in developing real estate projects with specific investment criteria. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Executive Board at İsra Holding and holds a founding board member position for all projects developed under İsra İnşaat. Additionally, he is a member of the Investment Committee for the V Mall Istanbul Venture Capital Fund.
He also serves on the boards of several companies operating in energy, retail, and development sectors. Ramazanoğlu is a member of the Chamber of Architects in Istanbul and is fluent in Arabic, English, and Turkish. With experience in technology, he has a proven track record of achieving high growth rates through the development of resource and administrative structures. His research experience keeps him up to date with industry trends and developments. His successes in international projects reflect his management and leadership skills in the global market.
Born in 1977 in Diyarbakır, Muhammed Veysel Vural graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Anadolu University with a degree in Public Administration. He currently serves as a Board Member at İsra Holding. He is also a Founding Partner at Temkin Yatırım Yapı. Between 2010 and 2019, Vural worked as the “Director of Procurement and Contracts” at İzmir Suburban Rail System Trading Inc. (EGERAY – TCDD, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey – İzmir Metropolitan Municipality), providing consultancy support for investment projects to institutions.
He has also been involved as a Board Member of the 35 Proje Hareketi Association and the Board of İzmir Civil Society Organizations.
Bülent Özütürk was born in 1973 in Amasya. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Samsun and graduated from Hacettepe University's Department of English Business Administration in 1996. In the same year, he began his career as an assistant specialist at the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB). Until his departure from the CMB in 2008, he held positions as a specialist in the Corporate Investors and Research Departments and served as Deputy Head of the Corporate Investors Department.
In 2008, Özütürk joined TAV Airports Group, where he served as Deputy General Manager of Finance at Havaş Ground Handling between 2008 and 2010. From 2010 to 2015, he worked as an Investment Coordinator at TAV Airports Holding, and in 2015, he took on the role of Deputy General Manager of Financial Affairs at Havaş. In 2016, Özütürk served as the Finance Director at CNR Holding and from 2017 to 2023, he acted as the General Secretary of the Turkish Investor Relations Society (TÜYİD). Since 2022, he has been an independent board member at Yayla Agro Gıda.
Özütürk holds several certifications, including Capital Markets Activities Level 3, Corporate Governance Rating, Credit Rating, Real Estate Valuation, and Derivative Instruments licenses. Between 2013 and 2015, he also served as Vice President of the Foreign Investments Business Council at DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board). He is the author of the book "The Second Best Solution - Business Development and Investment Dynamics."
Sertan Kocasaraç was born in 1974 in Adana. He graduated from Istanbul University's Faculty of Business Administration in 1995 and continued his postgraduate studies in Human Resources at the same university.
With 25 years of experience, Kocasaraç has served as a consultant and/or project coordinator in various strategic management, corporate development, restructuring, establishment of human resources management systems, budgeting, financial systems, and training projects in both the public and private sectors. He has conducted numerous studies on the institutionalization of family businesses, provided services in board membership for family businesses, and assisted in preparing family constitutions.
He has provided management consultancy services to companies such as Aşkale Çimento, Ava Holding, Duyar Vana, Özcanlar Kapı Kolları, EVS Vana, Ergaz, Akel, Asfa Koleji, Gökyüzü Koleji, Ziya Şark Sofrası, Kaanlar, Osmanlı Grup, Artukbey Kahve, Tekden Grup, Urve Plastik, Özsar Tekstil, Palamut Group, Timaş Yayıncılık, Monoteks, İsra Holding, Coccinelle, Gündüz Nakış, Birevim, and Akpa Pazarlama.
In the public sector, he has worked on strategic planning, training needs analysis, quality management, and the establishment of HR systems for institutions such as Emlak Konut, TRT, TİGEM, Üsküdar Municipality, İzaydaş, and TUSAŞ.
As part of his human resources selection and placement consultancy services, he has conducted over 3,000 one-on-one interviews with professionals. He managed a project for improving Turkish Airlines' (THY) recruitment processes and evaluating 25,000 cabin crew candidates.
He served as the project manager for the HR module in THY's ERP procurement process, overseeing the recruitment of over 300 employees and ensuring the development of the ERP procurement specification for the improvement and integration of THY's HR processes.
Kocasaraç holds certifications in project management and executive coaching. Since 2003, he has been working as a Founding Partner/General Manager at Kalinda Consulting and serves as a board member for some of the companies he consults.
Fluent in English, Kocasaraç is married and the father of three children.
